NASO @ Home celebrated Africa Day with the wonderful Black Female Entrepreneur Greenwich team at the Tramshed community centre.

This years theme “Deepening the AU Vision for Unity for Africa through Prosperity, Peace and Modernity for a Better Africa and a Better World.”

Volunteering at GG3x3 in the Summer of 2021

Introduced the UK-leading 3x3 Basketball charity to a media app, partnering with their Sports division and delivered a pitch to collaborate. The pitch was positive and led to a small project team delivering a creator tournament, hashtag challenge and was the first creator live streamed sports event on the app.

But it all started here, in this image, volunteering at the annual GG3x3 summer event schedule.

If you have teenagers or young children in your family who are interested in basketball, the community group offers great coaching and skills-based workshops. Additionally, they also host Men’s and Women’s 3x3 tournaments. You can find out more at www.gg3x3.com

Our second annual spoken word / poetry event is a wrap! And it was virtual and GLOBAL! Very in-line with this years IWD 2023 theme!

A celebration of relaxation on a Sunday evening @ home, empowerment, healing and art.

SHARMAY MITCHELL

Sharmay is enthusiastic about creative expression and regularly dabbles in poetry, illustration, stop motion filmmaking and jewellery making. Never shying away from a challenge, she took on the task of writing a poem a day for 100 days and ended up continuing for over 1300 days. Her debut poetry collection- be the Uplifter: Positive Poems was published in 2021 and she is currently working on a number of writing projects including her next poetry collection.
